ABOUT DONNA

Donna designs and creates beautiful jewellery collections inspired by her love of flowers, plants, foliage and repetitive patterns found in nature. Her work is romantic, feminine and very light and easy to wear.

Originally from Anglesey on the North Wales coastline, Donna moved up to Edinburgh in 1998 to study Jewellery & Silversmithing at Edinburgh College of Art. Having graduated in 2001 and completing her Post Graduate Diploma there in 2002, Donna has remained in the beautiful City of Edinburgh to this day. Donna works from her bright loft studio at Coburg House Studios in Leith with her contemporary, Kaz Robertson. Together they were awarded £7000 from the Deutsche Bank Pyramid Awards to set up their workshop at Coburg House in 2002. It is their 20th Anniversary this year and to celebrate, they are planning an exhibition at Coburg House Gallery in June this year.

Through the years, Donna has continued to develop and show her work at exhibitions and fairs across the UK. She has previously exhibited at the prestigious Goldsmith’s Fair in London and at ‘Elements Festival of Silver and Gold’ at Lyon & Turnbull in Edinburgh. Donna carefully designs and hand makes large bespoke pieces for special exhibitions and smaller items, which she sells through galleries throughout the UK, America and online.

Donna now works with Eco silver wherever possible and supports Fairtrade Gold, She is a registered jeweller under the Fairtrade Goldsmith’s Scheme.

In addition to developing her own range of jewellery, Donna also regularly runs Wedding Ring workshops at her studio with couples from all over the world.
